About US!

Hi, I am Felicity, the creator of the Sun, Moon, and Stars Bookshelf. I am sixteen years old, and I am currently a high school student. It seems crazy to me how this all started. My love language is giving gifts, and at the time my mom was applying for jobs, I thought making her a "book subscription" would be a fun way for us to bond. It helped me make something creative to show my support, and reading is a huge part of my life, and I wanted to include her in that. So I made her a much more run-down version, and she loved it. and I loved making it for her. So I offered to make it for some other people in my life who were getting into reading.

Growing up, both my parents had jobs in data research and analysis. So growing up, I often listened to them talk about their work and would even sample tests my dad was creating. So in creating this, I found I could gather a bunch of data and then use that to find out what books people may enjoy. So I decided to research building a website, and about a month later I am here. I am very fortunate and grateful for everyone who has helped me along this journey. I thought this could be a fun and new way to connect and help readers all around the world find the perfect book. As someone who has not always had the easiest time in life, I found there was little that could compare to hiding myself in between pages. My goal is to help people bring more reading into their lives because there is no problem that a good book and a cup of tea can't solve.
